This applies to the YouLift Bed.
To determine whether your YouLift Bed will clear your ceiling fan, you can simulate the bed’s movement using a simple measurement test:
- Measure 23 inches out from the wall. This marks where the bed platform begins.
- Measure the full height of the bed when it is in the upright position.
- Simulate the bed’s arc:
- Cut a string to match the bed’s height and tape one end to the floor.
- Have a partner hold the other end and rotate it in an arc to mimic the bed moving from upright to fully lowered.
- You can also use a fully extended measuring tape and track the arc upward toward the ceiling and downward toward the floor.
This will show whether your ceiling fan is within the path of the bed during operation.
