This applies to the YouLift Bed.
Safety is central to the design of the YouLift Bed. While it’s very safe when used correctly, please follow these guidelines to ensure proper operation:
Two-person operation
Because the YouLift Bed does not have a lifting mechanism, it must always be lifted and lowered by two able-bodied adults. Use proper lifting posture and lift with your legs. Due to the bed’s weight, pregnant individuals and children should not operate the bed.
Secure installation
The cabinet must be securely attached to the wall before use. We provide the hardware needed for most wall types. Do not operate the bed until it is properly anchored. (See our FAQ on attaching the cabinet to the wall.)
Keyed lock
The YouLift Bed includes a keyed lock to prevent it from being opened without the key. This is especially useful in homes with children or when you want to restrict access.
